We are hopeful to see you at one or more of our services or events!

On Wednesday nights at Concord, our focus is on prayer! Our youth and adults are going through a Psalm a week, followed by a time in prayer over our church's prayer list.
During this time, our kids are with Haley doing their own prayer service followed by a game time!

If you’re a young adult (18-20s) in the hickory area and have been looking for Christ Centered Community or have been wanting to explore your faith, give our Adultish group a try!!
Our goal is to equip and encourage young adults to become faithful, available, serving and teachable disciples of Jesus as they explore their questions & faith, while also helping them to engage in Christ Centered Community.

We would love for you to join us as we continue our study through the book of Ephesians!

If you're interested please inquire in the form below, or contact the church office!

Mark your calendars for our annual Mistletoe Market on November 23rd from 9:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.

We’re excited to invite you to join us for our Annual Thanksgiving Meal Outreach! This is a beautiful opportunity for us to come together as a church family and serve those in our community. On November 20th at 6:30 PM, we’ll be packing the meals, and then on November 24th at 5:00 PM, we’ll be delivering them to families. It’s a wonderful way for all of us, including kids, to experience the joy of giving back during this special season of gratitude.
We would love to have you and your family join us for these meaningful moments of service. Let’s show our community the love of Christ together!

What is Christmas really about?
As simple as this question may seem, how well do your children understand the miracle of Jesus’s birth and why the Christmas story centers on Him? This year’s family Advent devotional is meant to help your children not only understand but celebrate Jesus as Immanuel — God with us.
Throughout this resource, we will answer common (and sometimes silly!) questions that your child likely has about Jesus’s birth, life, death, and resurrection—questions such as:
If Jesus’s home is in heaven, why did He leave? Who is the Messiah? Why did God’s angels appear to shepherds?

This resource will:
Help your family slow down from holiday busyness and re-center Jesus as the reason for the season!
Expand your family’s knowledge of Christ and spark gratitude for God’s love for us
Engage your children in the joy of celebrating Jesus with fun, interactive activities.

More Than a Manger: How Every Detail of the Christmas Story Points to the Messiah is a four-week devotional that will walk your family through the Advent season with daily devotions and reflection questions, as well as weekly candle-lighting days and memory verses.
More Than a Manger also includes fun weekly activities like recipes, crafts, and sticker pages to cultivate intentional family time with your kids.
This devotional is for any family wishing to focus their attention on Christ this Christmas. It also pairs perfectly with this year’s Adult Advent study:
Just as He Promised: How the Birth of Jesus Proves God Keeps Every Promise He Makes.
If you are interested in the Family Devotional: More than a Manger, or the Adult Devotional, please let Haley know.
The Family Devotional has already been ordered, and there are limited copies. If you would like a copy please contact Haley. They are free for you, but if you would like to make a donation of half it's cost to go back into the kids budget you are invited to do so for $5.

"In Memory" Candle Form

As a part of our Christmas Worship and Communion each year, we have a time of remembrance for our loved ones who have gone to be with the Lord since last Christmas and are celebrating Christmas with our Heavenly Father.

This will occur at our A Night of Christmas Worship and Communion on Sunday, December 22nd at 5:00 P.M.

To remember those who have gone on before us since last Christmas, you will have the opportunity to light an "In Memory" candle in their honor.

Individuals and families may light one "In Memory" candle in remembrance of their loved one(s) who has (have) passed away.

If you have a family member who passed away since last Christmas, and would like to light a candle in their memory, please fill out a "In Memory" Candle Form on the app, or on paper in the vestibule by Monday, December 16th. You can also call the church office. This deadline gives our staff the ability and time to prepare for this special time of remembrance in partnership with your family.

We are excited to invite your kids (K-5th grade) to our Christmas Kids Lock-In on December 20th-21st! This fun, action-packed night will help your children grow closer with their friends at church, prepare for camp, and most importantly, be reminded of the true reason we celebrate Christmas—Christ’s birth. It’s going to be a time full of games, Bible study, crafts, and plenty of Christmas cheer!

**NOTE: While Kindergarteners are invited to come, ONLY 1st-5th graders are invited to stay overnight. Kindergarten parents should be prepared to pick-up their child at bedtime.

This is a wonderful opportunity for your kids to bond with others while experiencing the love of Christ in a fun and memorable way. The deadline to sign up is December 1st, so be sure to register soon! I can’t wait to see your child there!
This summer we are going back to Camp Caraway! We had a great time there last year, and we are excited to experience camp there again this year.

There will be a camp interest meeting November 17th, 2024 after the 10:00 A.M. service in the FLC. Please find a seat at one of the round tables, sign in, and look over the material on the tables while Haley waits for all the kids to be checked out after church. Once she gets down there she will start the meeting. If you are planning on your child going to camp this year, you need to be at this meeting or you will miss vital information on signing up, payment details, and fundraisers, etc.

THIS YEAR THERE ARE LIMITED SPOTS FOR BOTH CHAPERONES AND KIDS.

General Information:
  • WHEN: July 21-25, 2025
  • WHERE: Camp Caraway is located in Asheboro, NC
  • REGISTRATION DEADLINE: The deadline to register for camp is January 1st.
  • DEPOSIT & SPOT REGISTRATION: This year, there will be a non-refundable deposit of $85 due upon registration. Your spot (students and chaperones) will only be held for camp once this amount is paid. This amount is due January 1st.

Please make sure your child is prepared to be away from home for the entirety of the week. If you have questions or concerns please ask Haley.
  • CHAPERONES: If you are interested in Chaperoning please send Haley a message. Please note that chaperone spots are limited, and are not guaranteed just because your child is going to camp.
